CUCURBITS
- Pre-Plant: Apply 3 to 5 gallons of Cal-zone per acre (see Cal-zone label)
- At planting (or in transplant water): Starting Gate (2 to 4 gallons per acre) with 2 quarts of EARTHQUAKE Liquid Humic, 1 to 2 quarts of Micro-N-Rich, 1 quart of Liquid Kelp per acre. If “dipping” transplants, use a solution of 1 ounce of each product listed, per gallon of water.
- Vegetative Growth Stage: 1 quart of Earthquake Liquid Humic, 1 quart of Triple 8 Plus, 1 quart of Micro-N-Rich, 1 quart of Liquid Kelp, and 1 quart of Fulvic FM per acre, applied weekly or bi-weekly. Can be applied through drip irrigation.
- Reproductive Growth Stage/Topping: 1 quart of
EARTHQUAKE, 2 quarts of
PaybacK, 1 quart of
Sweet ‘n’ Loam, 1 quart of
Micro-N-Rich, 1 quart of
Liquid Kelp, and 1 quart of
Fulvic FM applied weekly or bi-weekly through harvest. Can be applied through drip irrigation.

Additional Cucurbit Comments:
- Any Starting Gate left over from planting, can be foliar applied at 1 gallon per acre with 1 quart of EARTHQUAKE.
- Phos Factor Z can also be used as a starter (2 to 5 gallons per acre).
- During the vegetative growth stage, Triple 8 Plus can be replaced with Shug Nitro every 2nd to 3rd feeding.
- NanoPro is suggested to add to any application that includes a herbicide, systemic insecticide or fungicides.
General Comments:
- Our products can be applied with most herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides. A jar test is recommended to establish compatibility.
- If applying with an herbicide, utilize WILDFIRE as your water conditioner.
- Utilize NanoPro with fungicide, herbicide or other crop protection products, add 4 ounces of NanoPro per acre. Best results occur when NanoPro is introduced directly to herbicide (via an inductor system). If no inductor system, call for mixing order.
- For best results, apply a minimum of 1 gallon EARTHQUAKE Liquid Humic per acre per season, in split applications.
Other products to consider:
- Brimstone 17: Add 1 quart per acre to any application (starter or foliar) when additional sulfur is needed.
- REVAMP: (enzyme complex / vitamins and hormones) Apply 1 gallon per 10 acres sprayed (12.5 ounces per acre) for additional plant performance and enhanced soil productivity. Add to setter water.
- Micro-N-Tense: Alternate micronutrient option wherever Micro-N-Rich is recommended.
- Sweet ‘n’ Loam: 28% cane molasses sugar with a 4-0-3-2S analysis. Added to any application at 1 to 4 quarts per acre. Molasses serves as quick energy for the plant and as a food source for soil microbes.
- Shug Nitro: 25% cane molasses sugar with a 12-0-2-1S analysis. Added to any application at 1 to 4 quarts per acre. Molasses serves as quick energy for the plant and as a food source for soil microbes.
